YTMND is the Man Now...Dawg

For those of you who don't know, ytmnd.com is a viral "video" site that streams user made scenes which consist of a sound clip, a picture or pictures, and sometimes text. YTMND stands for "You're the man now, dawg" and originated from the famous Sean Connery clip from the movie Finding Forrester. Something about an old man (but kick-ass old man) with an accent calling someone dawg is hilarious. Probably because he can actually pull off. Most of the jokes revolve around nerdy inside jokes which are running gags on the site like, Kevin Spacey yelling "WRONG" in Superman, or Rick Astley's famous Rick Roll. The site has been around for a number of years now so I decided it was about time to compile some of the best clips found on the site. Woot, I love lists.

First up is shocking cats. Everyone loves lol cats, heck people even join groups on facebook based in Santa Cruz that add multiple home-made lolcats daily (I may or may not be one of those people). Shocking cats Is like a moving lol cat... a movol cat if you will. Needless to say, it's pretty awesome. (The clip repeats fyi)

Second we have Deanfighters. Finally we can see the true intentions behind the Democratic party. I knew there was something off about them.

Third we have KhanFindsWaldo. The mighty Khan is really just a kid at heart. Congratulations to Khan.

Fourth is the satyrical LexLuthorScientology. Lol barrel roll. The user that uploaded this is not a scientologist.

Zero Punctuation: Best Ever

"Best ever" is a pretty honorable title to give, and it is as prestigious as it is vague (That's a good thing). Fortunately I have found a video game reviewer who takes convoluted multi-page reviews and transfers them into single, large run-on sentences. After adding some fitting analogies and swear words it was decided that "Zero Punctuation" would be my sole source for popular video game reviews. Thus it was dubbed "Best Ever." This is a review particularly close to my heart, and I wish I had known about BEFORE buying Burnout: Paradise. (Also found here if link dies)

The Crysis review was also rather pithy (Also found here if link dies):

All of his reviews can be found on The Escapist Magazine's webpage.

G-BAG: Greek Bros Against the Government

D-Bags are lame, but G-Bags totally rock.  Since the dawn of "Revenge of the Nerds," audiences have found fraternity brothers hilarious and/or awesome.  Finally a video game has been released that lets people play as the famed meatheads, and show their superiority over nerds, emo kids, and cops alike.    Brozerk: Blood Profusion is the first game of its kind to really stick it to the man, bro-style.  Hopefully after playing this game you'll be as cool as these guys:

and if you're lucky you might get a date to your next kegger like these dudes.  Special thanks to yoyogames.com for allowing homebrew games to get exposure.
